The ingredient of Almond-glazed ham

  1. 350g jar apricot conserve
  2. 1 cup sweet sherry
  3. 100g slivered almonds
  4. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  5. 6kg full leg ham

The instruction how to make Almond-glazed ham

  1. Place apricot conserve, sherry, almonds, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of water into a small saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 mins.
  2. Preheat oven to 160C or 140C fan. Remove the rind and score the fat beneath.
  3. Transfer ham to a large baking pan. Glaze and bake for 1.5 hrs basting every 30 mins. (Cover with foil after 1 hr if it starts to colour too much.)
