  3. 265g (1/2 cup) golden syrup
  4. Thick cream or ice-cream, to serve

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the grapefruit and cook for 1 minute. Add the golden syrup and cook for a further 1 minute, gently stirring and turning the grapefruit segments. Serve warm with cream or ice-cream.
