The ingredient of Orange & poppy seed cake

  1. 340g pkt White Wings Golden Buttercake
  2. 1 tbsp finely grated orange rind
  3. 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  4. 195g (1 1/4 cups) icing sugar mixture
  5. 2 tsp butter, at room temperature
  6. 1 1/2 tbsp fresh orange juice

The instruction how to make Orange & poppy seed cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180u00b0C. Brush a 22cm (base measurement) round cake pan with melted butter. Line pan with non-stick baking paper. Prepare White Wings Golden Buttercake, following packet directions to the end of step 2.
  2. Fold in orange rind and poppy seeds. Spoon into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Bake for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cool in the pan.
  3. Beat icing sugar, butter and orange juice in a bowl until creamy. Spread the icing over the cake.
